Aue’s experience clearly has been a positive one despite cultural adjustments and the frustrations of getting to grips to new administrative systems and the subsequent impact of delaying time spent on her research. Aue shares tips on finding research opportunities through conference networks and also finding funding opportunities for researchers seeking international experience.
