Your academic online profiles

Thinking ahead to the coming year, this is a great time to refresh your academic online profiles.

From your online institution staff pages to your LinkedIn profile and the academic networks that you use there are a few quick updates you can do:-

  1. Check that your contact details are correct and current
  2. Ensure your job title is correct
  3. Get your most recent publications listed or posted on the relevant networks
  4. If you have a recent professional photo update your profile image on the networks that have a space for a photo
  5. Update your summary and include what you are working on now, as well as what you would like to be contacted about
